Courses that involve direct horse contact will be limited to a maximum number of participants. All new volunteers must complete class 1 & 2 prior to starting work at the sanctuary.
Course fees are $25.00 per person, per session.
For those wishing to be involved with the schooling of our special horses, it is suggested you attend courses multiple times, if possible. We are re-vamping and adding new materials to the classes to enhance your learning experience. Certification to assist with the horses is based on a criterion based evaluation to ensure the safety of our volunteers, and of course, the horses. Many of our rescues have special needs: physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually. We would like you to be adequately prepared to assist in their healing.
