Chavali is a very sweet and beautiful mare. She was rescued in 2004 with fourteen other “Pony-Skin” foals at one to two months old. “Pony Skin” leather is taken from young foals’ hind quarters and made into high-end leather items such as belts, handbags, furniture, etc… These horses come from industries such as the Premarin industry, race horse industry, breeding farms, etc.
She was quickly adopted out but returned to Equine Voices in February 2016. Her days are spent in the corral with her best friend, Bobbi Socks.
Won’t you consider sponsoring her? $50 a month is a great way to support the healing home of Equine Voices!
