Welcome Sniper!
Sniper is about 25 years old and was a champion rider in his youth!
Life took an unexpected turn when his beloved horse-mom faced health challenges, leading Sniper to seek a warm and loving retirement home where he can gracefully enjoy his golden years.
Currently, he is a bit underweight, so we’ve placed him on a specialized starvation protocol for a couple of weeks, ensuring we closely monitor his health and weight during this critical time.
Just days after his arrival, he had a visit from our fabulous farrier for a pedicure, and he was an absolute star—if only all our equine friends could take such a cue from his cooperation!
For now, Sniper is comfortably settling into our main barn as he acclimates, with hopes of joining the “big herd” when he is ready.
