Star’s Wind journey began on April 2, 2024, when he was abandoned in Arivaca, AZ, due to his owner falling ill without leaving care instructions. As a resilient mustang horse, Star’s Wind strength and beauty were evident upon rescue. Now settled in a new corral among fellow rescue horses, he’s learning to trust again. With patience and care, Star’s Wind allows us to approach and pet him, as we work on building trust and addressing minor behavior issues. 

Star’s Wind found himself in a difficult situation, alone with two dogs on the brink of being sent to PACC for adoption. The disorganization of the house and the scattered debris across the property posed a significant hazard. The sharp fence lying on the ground hinted at potential dangers lurking in the neglected surroundings, painting a picture of the challenges Star’s Wind faced in maintaining safety and order in his environment.
