Equine Voices and the Wild For Life Foundation (WFLF) are thrilled to announce the arrival of 7 Spanish Mustang mares and their babies to Equine Voices Rescue and Sanctuary. These majestic icons were in grave danger of going to slaughter, but were saved as part of a collaborative grass roots rescue mission by the Wild for Life Foundation (WFLF).

“Equine Voices is honored to be part of WFLF’s Monero Mustang Rescue Mission, a nationwide effort under the Wild for Life Foundation Safe Haven Rescue Partnership program,” says Karen Pomroy, founder and executive director of Equine Voices. By helping to save these imperiled horses’ lives, we will also be helping to build awareness for the need to protect America’s wild horses from roundups and slaughter.”

Equine Voices needs additional help with the care of the Monero Mustangs and is looking for short term sponsors to help one or all of the fourteen mustangs in need.  Donations will help with special supplements and vet care.  Through monthly gifts and one-time donations supporters can help support these special mustang mares and foals. 100% of each donation goes directly to help these horses, and helps to ensure that these vulnerable imperiled horses will never be at risk again.
